Got a pair of pierced earrings that you want converted to clip on but unsure how to approach it? We may be able to help. Our studio can re-manufacture or modify a wide range of earrings to give a professional finish.
How it works
To begin with, we’ll need you to send us photographs of the earring you want converted. Whilst we can help with a wide range of styles, there are some that we can’t help with. We’d prefer to tell you up front. Take photographs from several angles and then you can either email them to us or send them via WhatsApp. Tell us what the earrings are made of – are they fine jewellery made of real gold or silver, or are they costume jewellery?
If it’s a piece we can do a good job on, we’ll let you know and give you an estimate. If you then send it in, we’ll retrofit it with a clip on fastening in an appropriate colour and metal. In most cases, it should come out looking as if it was always like that! The types of clips we will use are not the clip converters that you see for sale in this section, rather they’ll be ones designed to be a permanent part of the earring thereafter.
It may also be possible for us to repair broken pieces of jewellery.
Prices start from £20 but an exact amount will depend upon the parts needed and the complexity of the work undertaken. We’ll let you know up front what we estimate the cost will be and will confirm it upon receipt of the item.
