If you have got pierced earrings you would like to convert to clip on earrings, then you can use these converter posts. All you need to do is make sure that the type of pierced earrings you have, have the metal pin bit to push down into the converter barrel. Most pierced earrings which have a post and scroll fastening can do this.

Do note that this means you will be bending the post on the pierced earring. You won’t be able to that with fish hook style earrings and we don’t recommend it for family heirlooms or fine jewellery as that would reduce it’s value. Thats all you need to do, and you have converted!

How to convert pierced earrings to clips

We have a set of 3 photos to show how easy it is to convert pierced earrings to clips.

1st photo of the left shows a red heart shaped pierced earring with metal post.

2nd photo in the middle shows the metal post on the red heart earring inserted into the converter post. Now leave a little bit of space and bend the metal post inside the converter post!!

3rd photo shows what it looks like when it is finished. How easy was that?
